The Bride and Groom arrived early and spent a
couple of days enjoying the site, on a lovely September weekend... |
|
 |
|
...they got to know the area, and were
involved in the preparations and making sure all the wedding details
were complete.... |
 |
The family of the Groom stayed in the Cape,
while the family of the Bride stayed in the Farmhouse, which gave
them all a chance to relax and prepare for the great event.
On the big day, they dressed in their
bold, colorful bedrooms
and walked out to the wedding site... |

The lovely mothers on the afternoon of the
wedding... |
|

|
While the beautiful Bride, surrounded by her
female loved ones, prepared in the Farmhouse, the guests began to
arrive and check in, picking up their favors. |
 |
 |

 |
|
Cocktails were served on the Farmhouse back
porch, overlooking the Back River. |
 |
|
 |
 |
|
Then the guests headed down to the pond, where
the ceremony was held. |
 |
|
The strings began to play.... |
 |
|
...and, when all was ready, the Officiant went
to gather the Bride and parents... |
|
 |
|
...the Bride's parents walked her down the
'aisle', from the Farmhouse to the pond.... |
|
 |
|
...and handed her to her delighted
Groom-to-be... |
|
 |
|
...as the Groom's parents joined the
gathering.... |
|
 |
|
The Officiant began the ceremony..... |
|
 |
|
Bride and Groom exchanged vows and rings in
front of the Officiant... |
 |
|
...and their friends and families... |
|
 |
|
...and then....married! |
|
 |
|
 |
|
...now off for pictures...with a talented
local photographer....

...then to the reception celebration....and
the empty tents... |

 |

..were filled with happy friends and family... |

...great food from a local caterer,
The Boathouse Bistro for the
waiting guests... |

...while the bridal party lined up to join the
reception, with the breezes off the river keeping them cool... |
 |
|
 |
 |
|
and after the bridal party arrived at the
reception tent.......lots of talking and eating... |
 |
|
 |
 |
|
...and dancing... |
 |
|
...and then it was time for the Bride and
Groom to go..... |
|
 |
|
...off into a fabulous life together...... |
